We consider your privacy very important. Therefore, we must take our time to explain in the most understandable ways what information we collect, how we use it, and our rights. We expect you to read this privacy policy carefully, as it helps you make informed decisions about sharing your personal information with us. This privacy policy applies to all information collected through the site.

Social Media Login Data: We may allow you to register using social media account details, like your Facebook, Google, or other social media accounts. If you choose to register this way, we will collect the Information described in the section “How Do We Handle Your Social Logins” below.

When you visit our website, there is information that we collect automatically. However, this information does not reveal your specific identity. This information includes device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Site, and other technical details. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Site and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

 Based on legitimate business interests, the fulfillment of our contract with you, and compliance with our legal obligations, we use the information received in our platform for the different business purposes highlighted below.

1. To facilitate account creation and login process, Suppose you link your account with us to a third-party account such as your Google or Facebook account. We will use the information you allowed us to collect from those third parties to facilitate the account creation and login process.

1. To Send You Marketing and Promotional Communications: For business purposes, our third-party marketing partners may use the personal information you send us for our marketing purposes. But you can opt out of our marketing emails at any time.
2. To Send Administrative Information to You: We may use your personal information to send you product, service, and new feature information and information about changes to our terms, conditions, and policies related to your account, our business purposes, and/or for legal reasons.
3. To Manage and Succeed Your Order:  We may use your information to fulfill and manage your orders, payments, returns, and exchanges through our platform for contract purposes.
4. For Testimonials Post:  We may post testimonials on our platform that may have personal information. However, we will ask your permission to use your name and testimonial before posting. But feel free to contact our team and make sure you include your name, testimonial location, and contact information if you wish to update or delete your testimonial.
5. Deliver Targeted Advertising to You: We may use your information to develop and display content to your interests and location and to measure its effectiveness with your permission for our Business Purposes.
6. Administer Prize Draws and Competitions: We may use your information to administer prizes and competitions if you choose to participate in competitions.
7. Request Feedback: We may use your information to request feedback and contact you about using our Site.
8.  To Protect Our Site:  We may use your information to keep our Site safe and secure for Legal Reasons such as fraud monitoring and prevention.
9. To Enable User-To-User Communications: We may use your information to help with user-to-user communications.

We may also allow selected third parties to use tracking technology on the Site to enable them to collect data about how you interact with the Site over time. 5. HANDLING YOUR SOCIAL LOGINS

Kalox Media (stars) may allow you to register and login using your third-party social media account details like your Facebook or Google login. But we will receive certain profile information about you from your social media provider. The profile Information may include your name, e-mail address, friends list, profile picture, and other information you choose to make public. If you log in using Facebook, we may also request access to additional permissions related to your account, such as friends, check-ins, and likes, and you may choose to grant or deny us access.

Please note that we do not control or are responsible for other uses of your personal information by your third-party social media provider. Therefore, we recommend that you review their privacy policy to understand how they collect, use, and share your personal information and how you can set your privacy preferences on their sites and apps.

6. INTERNATIONAL MARKET  

Your information is marketed internationally, but we only upload, store, and process your data in Sierra Leone and distribute them where our servers are. Therefore, if you are accessing our Site from outside Sierra Leone, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed by us in our facilities and by those third parties with whom we may share your personal information. However, if you reside outside Sierra Leone, we will take all necessary measures to protect your data through this privacy policy and applicable law.

7. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES

Kalox Media (stars) is not responsible for the safety of any data you share with third-party providers who advertise but are not affiliated with our websites. 

This privacy policy does not cover any data collected by third parties not affiliated with us. We cannot guarantee the safety and privacy of the data you provide to third parties. Therefore, please review the policies of such third parties and contact them directly to respond to your questions. We are not responsible for any third parties’ content or privacy and security practices and policies that may be linked to or from our Site.

8. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

To fulfill the purposes of this policy outline, your information will be kept as long as necessary.  Except otherwise permitted by law.

Based on the purposes of this privacy policy, we will keep your personal information for as long as necessary.  However, if your account is closed, no provision in this policy demands us to keep your personal information for at most 90 days. But, if the personal data has been held in backup archives that might cause the information not to be deleted, we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until it is possible.

 

9. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?

We have put appropriate security measures (technical and organizational) in place to protect the safety of any personal information we process. However, we cannot guarantee 100% internet security. Therefore, you must access our services within a secure environment because your personal information and transmission of personal information to and from our Site are at your own risk.  

10. INFORMATION FROM CHILDREN

Upon using our site, Information from children below 18 years is not allowed on our platform. The user must be at least 18 years old. If we understand that we have collected personal information from a user under 18, we will delete such information and close the user’s account instantly. Please get in touch with us at

 We will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases if you request to terminate your account. However, some information may be retained in our files to avoid fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with investigations, and enforce our Terms.

Opting Out of Email Marketing: You can unsubscribe from our marketing email list by clicking on the unsubscribe link in our emails or contacting us. However, for the administration and use of your account, we will still need to send you service-related emails. You can also opt out by:

12. DO-NOT-TRACK SIGNALS

Presently, we do not respond to any (DNT) signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. However, we will inform you in a revised version of this Privacy Policy. If a standard for online tracking is adopted, we must follow it in the future.
